CEO Leaves Online Casino Giant

David Harding, William Hill's CEO and one of the most respected people at the worldwide online casino industry, has recently announced that he will be leaving the company at the end of this year, after seven years of hard work at this successful online gambling site. According to sources at the London Stock Exchange, Harding's decision came after he decided to seek new challenges, not necessarily at this same industry. Harding's retirement follows yet another departure, as Tom Singer, Will Hill's Chief Operating Officer will be leaving the company too. Singer was previously regarded as Harding's possible successor, but that will obviously not happen now.

"Having spent seven years helping to build this company and transforming it into a leading online casino, I think that now is the time to move on and looks for new challenges" said Harding. One thing for sure, Harding won't be needing any more money for the near future, as he currently holds $10.7 million worth of the company's stock options, which have doubled since June 2025. In total, Harding's compensation for the last two years will stand at almost $20 million – not bad at all

While Charles Scott, Will Hill's Chairman, still hasn't revealed who will replace Harding as the new Chief Executive Officer, he has already stated that Harding is leaving the company in good health and that he will continue to help through to transition period. Many companies in the past went through similar processes and managed to keep up the profits coming, something that will almost certainly happen at this case too. Nevertheless, Harding's departure will surely leave a big hole at this giant online casino company
